The Board of Directors for Humane Society London & Middlesex (HSLM) is currently seeking nominees to join a group of leaders who collaboratively contribute to animal welfare and building a compassionate community.
The Board of Directors at HSLM is a governance board and holds the responsibility to define the organization’s vision and mission, provide strategic direction, set priorities and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Directors serve for a two-year term, with the opportunity for re-election for a maximum of three additional terms (8 years in total). The time commitment is approximately 6-12 hours per month. Directors should be London and area residents.
For the 2025 recruitment cycle, the HSLM Board of Directors is looking for candidates that have expertise in the following areas:
- Finance – including a CA who would be interested in serving as Treasurer on the Executive
- Non-profit governance
- Law
- Strategic planning & business development
- Human Resources
