Happy International Volunteer Day! Today is all about celebrating the incredible volunteers who make so much possible at HSLM. You know that saying, “We couldn’t do it without them”? It’s absolutely true when it comes to our amazing volunteer team.
On behalf of our staff and animals, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our 250 dedicated volunteers. Their passion, commitment, and compassion have made a profound impact on the lives of so many animals, offering them the love, care, and hope they deserve each day.
We invite everyone to join us in recognizing and celebrating the vital contributions of our volunteers. Whether they’re helping with our pet food bank, assisting with shelter operations, fostering animals, driving animals to appointments, socializing them, or supporting events, every moment of their time matters. Each act of service is a powerful reflection of their dedication to animal welfare and the broader community.
